Rob Liefeld along with Jim Lee and Todd Mcfarlane around 1990/91 that just really hooked me on comics. My tastes have broadened quite a bit in that time to include many artists, but those guys were the big three for me and the reason I still have intrest in the medium today. I also don't judge all artists by the same criteria because not all artists have the same goals. So no, I don't want to see Rob fail. I think petty jealousy like that is a waste of time.
:iconaltero2012:
I am filled with petty jealousy as I'm the same age as Rob. But I give the guy credit for actually selling some books. I don't knock his work at all. I mean, he's doing it while i'm a sitting at home :)
:icontv1:
LOL. I guess I never understood the venom he caught from people. Artists I don't like tend to not matter to me. Rob's haters tend to be more fanatic about him than his fans.

I was just gonna say, great Adam Hughes vibe to your work but then i saw it was Adam Hughes. Like the color work you did.
:iconaltero2012:
AH! His gray marker work give the piece all the tonal values. I just used a "multiply" layer over a flat color layer. Like I've said many times before I am a totally huge hack!

Thanks for the watch
